Socialization Checklist

We want to expose our puppies to as many positive socialization experiences as possible.  This is a check list of some of the things we expose them to.

Handling:

Handled from birth.

Early neurological stimulation or supper puppy exercises from 3 to 16 days old

Held in all kinds of positions(upside down, side ways, cradled, etc)

Restraint & release

Grooming(nails, baths, brushing)

Body parts(mouth, ears, tail, feet)

Sounds

Household sounds(vacuum, TV, radio, loud video games)

Banging(hammering, dropped objects)

People(talking, laughing, sneezing, coughing, yelling)

Environmental Enrichment

Jungle Gym(PVC gym with toys, metal cans, noisy objects , etc. attached to it)

Variety of different types of food out of a variety of dishes

Appearance: facial hair, types of clothes, body types, crutches, cane, wheelchair

Movement: running, skipping, unstable,
